The Operations Ministry supports all ministries in areas of time, talent and treasure. The Operations Ministry exists to provide behind-the-scenes and foundational support for the parish in the areas of Finance, Building & Grounds and Technology. Ways to get involved:
Building & Grounds provides long-range planning & goal setting for the maintenance, repair & expansion of Sacred Heart’s facilities & grounds. They provide input on the selection & use of contractors. They also provide input to the Finance Team concerning facility related issues
Responsible and discrete volunteers work in assigned teams to count and prepare the deposit of Sunday and other church collections. Teams are assigned specific Sundays throughout the year.
The Finance Team ensures the parish is financially responsible. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing the annual budget, reviewing parish revenue, investigating cost saving strategies & providing parishioners & other leadership teams with a financial report of the parish.
Landscaping Team
The Landscaping Team is a group of volunteers who care for the parish grounds, keeping the gardens neat, and planting annuals and perennials.
Media streaming coordinates the production of live audio & video so that it can be recorded & streamed to the internet. This valuable service sets our parish apart by sharing our worship outside our doors. This will also allow family & friends to participate in baptisms, weddings and funerals when they are unable to travel to Hopedale. This ministry is needed at one weekly mass and occasionally at special events.
Media Presentation coordinates the projected presentation during Mass and other special services. This ministry also allows us to share announcements before mass and video options during Homilies. Training will be provided.
The technology ministry works with parish and other ministry leaders to ensure we have the tools needed to enhance our education and worship experiences. Those who have the background and passion in technology are encouraged to join.
