Dear Parish Family, It’s hard to believe that another year of Faith Formation has come and gone. Sunday was our last Faith Formation class for the year. This year has been especially challenging due to continued covid issues and not having a faith formation coordinator. Tina has been an unbelievable asset! She has done the bulk of the work with communicating to families, organizing classes and materials, keeping track of attendance…and the list goes on. As a community, we are so fortunate to have a wonderful team of catechists including: Meredith Daelhousen, Allison Fishlock, John Walek, Kathleen Kavanaugh, Josh Ingemi, Briana Lima, Martha Gosselin, Julie Jutras, Joe Buckley and Jess Allen. THANK YOU for all your hard-work and dedication. A huge thank you also goes out to our Sacramental Preparation Team: Tara Corcoran (First Reconciliation/First Eucharist), Jeff Ayotte (Confirmation 1) and Kathy Byrne and Rick Alves (Confirmation 2). I would like to note that Kathy and Rick have taught our newly confirmed since the first grade, which made celebrating the sacrament of confirmation last Friday even more special. (Please check out our photos of First Eucharist and Confirmation on our Facebook page! Now the planning for next year begins! I have been participating in several workshops with people from all over the country and Canada to share ideas on different topics and potential programs. As we all know – Zoom is a wonderful thing. It is very interesting to hear what other parishes are doing as we are always looking for the best practices and bring them to Sacred Heart. Congratulations to all our First Communicants, newly confirmed and about-to-be graduates. It truly has been a pleasure watching each of your children grow into the fine young men and women that they are. Blessings for the week! Pam Chaplin
