Dear Fellow Parishioners, Happy Easter to you all as we gather this Divine Mercy Sunday! Several of you have shared how good it was to have altar servers again. I want to thank Gerald Maurais for training the new altar servers and rehearsing with them for each of the Holy Week services. Thank you to all of those who came forward to serve. A reminder that anyone who has made their First Communion is eligible to be an alter server, and there is no age limit, so any adults who would like to serve, please step forward. Music is a very important aspect of our worship. I wish to thank Stephen Chaplin for accompanying us regularly. Thank you also to Tony Orifice, Annmarie Smith, Charlotte Grillo-Manna, Kayla Beckvold, Jennie Marshall, and Carolyn Chaplin for leading us in song. Anyone wishing to be a cantor, or offer their musical talents, please let us know and we will be happy to get you started. We are hoping others will come forward to enhance our contemporary music offerings. It would be wonderful to also have youth and adult choirs. Thank you also to Paula Cadoret, Janet Hourihan, Michelle Faherty, and Margee who take care of the worship environment, decorating appropriately for each liturgical season. If you wish to help, let us know. A sincere thank you to all our Readers of the Word, Eucharistic Ministers, greeters, ushers and our Audio-Visual team for serving our community week in and week out. Again, we are looking for others to join these ministries. Many of our ministries take place off campus. Stephen Ministers, Ministers of Care, Hospital Ministers, Thrift Shop, Faith Formation catechists, hospitality team, coffee and… event planners, Seder Committee, Buildings and Grounds, Finance, Stewardship, PPT and more. There is room enough for all of us to share our gifts, skills and talents, to make our community alive and vibrant. If you want to be involved in some way let us know and we will get you started. Behind the scenes, making sure that everything is ready, and schedules are in place for all our services are Pam Chaplin and Tina Buckley; along with Deacon Tom and Joe Calabrese we have a wonderful team serving our parish community. Thank you to each individual who makes the faith come alive at the Catholic Community of Sacred Heart with their active and faith filled support and presence. Happy Easter to all! Fr. Bill
