Anointing of the Sick

“Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:14-15)

Christ spent a great deal of time bringing healing and consolation to those who were sick. The Church continues in this healing ministry and is concerned with the healing of the whole person; body, mind, and spirit.

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a sacred gift to anyone among us struggling. Anointing of the Sick is offered on the Second Sunday of every month following the 10:30AM Mass (9:30 AM Mass during the summer.)

In addition, healing services offered during Advent and Lent at a time to be announced.
