Welcome Letter from Fr. Bill:
Welcome to Sacred Heart! Whether you’re visiting us for a brief time, looking for a new parish home, returning to the Catholic faith or are interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church, we are so happy that you are here. As a lifelong Catholic, I know it is not easy visiting a new parish community for the first time. Once you do find enough courage to go, you are filled with lots of reservations like: Do I really belong here? Am I really welcome? Will the people be friendly? What if I don’t like it? Will they ask me for money? Will my kids like it? How should I dress? What if I don’t fit in?
As pastor of this wonderful parish I want to make your every visit an enjoyable experience from the first moment you walk through the door. I want the experience to be stress-free and relaxing. Our worship experience is designed to be warm, exciting, visually stimulating, and “user-friendly” for people of all backgrounds, including those who have never attended church or those who have been away for a while. Everyone is welcome, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey!
As you explore our web pages, I hope you will be asking yourself, “Can Sacred Heart be the community I’ve been hoping for?” If you think the answer is “yes!” then please come and visit us. I promise a wonderful church experience and personal reply from me!
We are glad you are visiting with us.
It’s important to us that you’re here. We believe that every person is deeply loved by God, created in God’s image and deserves to be respected and encouraged on their spiritual journey.
We respect your journey
We believe that learning to follow Jesus is a personal and lifelong journey. The good news is that you are not alone. At Sacred Heart, we journey together, caring for and learning from one another.
At Sacred Heart every voice is valued. So, if you’re looking for a place where honest questions are encouraged as a healthy part of spiritual life, we just might be the place for you.
Come as you are
Truly. We can’t wait to meet you! Feel free to introduce yourself to our pastor, Fr. Bill Konicki, or to any of our ushers or greeters who will be the first faces of welcome at our entrances.
